Sometime between 8pm on 11/02/2026 and 6.30am on 12/02/2026, a grey 71 plate VW Tiguan was broken into at an address on Denholme Road, Leeming. The suspect/s smashed the vehicle window and made off unseen with the integrated satnav / entertainment system. Thieves often target vehicles’ in-car infotainment system, which is an integrated device that delivers information and entertainment functionality to drivers and passengers. Thieves tend to target Audis, BMWs, and Volkswagens by smashing the passenger window to remove the infotainment system, making the car unusable.
